You'll need: LPD 4921 or LPD4921-1 Tru-Cool Max cooler, 34,000 BTU/GVW (includes one piece of hose) Sonnax adapter kit #119814-01K Extra hose, Gates 27059 is available at many auto parts stores. 3.5' is needed for the second connection, or you can get 7' to use it for the entire installation. I use wider hose clamps than those that come with the cooler, Ideal #5306 (lined), 6706-1, or 5006, available locally (Fastenal ~$15 for 10) You may consider a bypass for temperatures under about 40°F. The Long bypass, p/n 708-4739, included with the LPD 4921 and LPD 4920, tends to run the fluid temperature at about 190. I have found one that usually holds closer to 170 except in extreme conditions and will be ordering them in batches to get a discounted price. I include the 4 clamps (#5306) needed and can add the 4 needed for the cooler install for $5. Let me know if you need one. You could also use the lpd4920 or LPD4920-1 Cooler (22,000 BTU/GVW), but it may run a bit warmer in tough conditions. You'll need up to a half liter of transmission fluid and maybe a pint of antifreeze. When installing a cooler, especially if you're not sure of the condition of the fluid, I recommend doing the 8 liter change as shown in the service files at the top of http://www.rialtainfo.com/vw/transmission.htm#fluid Duane (txpigeon@gmail.com)
